about us

Nocturnal Craft started when Alison decided to share her art and wanted to make stickers, but was being way too self conscious. She went to one of her best friends, Kelly, for insight and advice. Kelly has been putting her art on Instagram for years, and has had tables in various artists alley multiple times.

Then an idea started to form!

A place where the two friends can push and support each other. Working together to grow and develop their styles. Making their art more accessible and attending more events.

Kelly Okler

Originally from a small cornfield town in Illinois, she moved to Washington state to be with her husband who was in the military.

Feels like Kelly has been dabbling and experimenting with her art for a very long time. Her style started to form while doodling in large sketchbooks on her lunch breaks. Now growing into attending multiple conventions like Washington State Summer Con, and making beautiful hand painted portraits of the fanciest monster ladies!

Her muse, Scar.

Alison Poppy

Migrated to Washington state from the freezing temps of Minneapolis. Expecting to only stay a handful of years and move on to a new adventure, she now has been in the PNW for over a decade and has found her people.

Alison grew up around art and would spend many days at the Walker Art Center or MIA. Her artist father put her in a lot of summer art classes, of all mediums. Now 20+ years later she is jumping right back in and is hoping to improve her mental health and push herself out of her comfort zone.
